What does the FALC believe anyways?

I couldn’t help but relate this excellent essay with the old tale of “The Emperor’s New Clothes.” Pete and Rebecca Torala did a great job objectively laying out what the FALC believes and how they practice their religion. They are simply stating what is obvious, and what is taught in the FALC, and challenging it with questions and scriptures they are reading in the Bible.

I highly encourage you to read this with an open heart. Really consider.

Be humble. True humility is willing to be wrong and be corrected. True humility is willing to change if presented with evidence that contradicts your beliefs. True humility is not easily offended and reactive, but is reasonable, wise, and slow to speak.

If the FALC is right, this should be no problem to read. The FALC ministers should be able to answer every question, and be excited about talking about what they believe.

If you sent something like this to a healthy church, there would be no problem with addressing every single point. That is what integrity is. You can stand behind what you believe, and if wrong, you are willing to change.

My prayer is for humility, willingness, and for people to be honest. Many people live with rose colored glasses on and act like the FALC does not believe or teach this or act this way. This does not benefit your life here or your eternal life to not address these important matters face on.

There is so much blessing in being humble and willing. God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble. (James 4:6)
